Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure the following parts are included.
1) Main Reel Assembly
2) Crank Handle assembly
3) Handlebar with mounting bolts
4) Owner’s manual
5) 80” Lead-in hose
If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number
on the cover of this manual.
Assembly
Before using your hose reel, you must first assemble the Wheels, Crank Handle
and Handlebar, as well as attach the Lead-in hose.
Position the Reel Assembly upright on a level surface in an area where it is safe
and convenient to do the assembly.
1.
Insert the Shaft (17) into the Frame (18). Place one of the Wheels (1) on
the end of the Shaft (17). Insert a Locking Pin (2) through the hole in the
end of the Shaft (17), and bend it using a suitable pliers. Repeat this
process to install the remaining three Wheels.

Attach the handle portion of the Crank Handle (3) to the shaft portion,
using the Bolt and Nut provided.

Position the Handle (13) over the swaged tube ends at the rear of the Reel
Assembly as shown using the Bolts (14) and Nuts (15) provided. Tighten
securely.
4.
Attach the female end of the hose (not provided) to the Water Pipe (8) at
the rear end of the Reel. Tighten securely. NOTE: Before attaching hose,
be sure that the hose fitting is in good condition, and free of dirt or other
contaminants. It is a good idea to use a rubber or plastic seal, which is
usually provided with the hose.
