To charge the Battery (31), insert the Charger’s (50) cable into the DC Plug (33)
located at the top of the Screwdriver body.

Plug the Charger (50) into a 120 volt, grounded, electrical outlet.
(See Figure E.)
5.
Once the Battery is fully charged (within 3 to 5 hours) the Charger will
automatically shut off.
6.
Once the Battery is fully charged, unplug the Charger (50) from its electrical
outlet. Then, remove the Charger’s cable from the DC Plug (33) of the
Screwdriver.

NOTE:
While charging the Battery (31), the Charger (50) may feel warm to the
touch which is normal during the charging process.

Lithium Battery Charging Safety
Do not leave unattended while charging.
1.
Battery charging should be done by adults only.
2.
Charge on non-flammable surface and keep away from flammable items.
3.
Turn charger off when battery is charged, and unplug charger from battery-pow-

ered device.
Disconnect AC wall chargers from outlets while not in use.

If battery-powered device has been damaged, immediately stop use, unplug, and

safely move away from flammable materials.
Follow instructions for charging battery. Do NOT charge longer than recommended.
