instructions, operating and maintenance procedures. Keep your invoice with this
manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front cover. Keep the
manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference.
Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING: When using this product, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this tool!

Observe operating area conditions
. Do not use this product in damp or wet
locations. Don’t expose to rain.
2.
Store equipment properly
. When not in use, this product must be stored in a
dry location.
3.
Use the right product for the job
. Do not attempt to use the 2 - Way Radio for
emergency communication purposes. This radio was designed for casual
communications at short distances. It will do the job better and more safely for
the purpose it was intended. Do not modify this radio, and do not use it for a
purpose for which it was not intended.

Maintain product with care
. Follow instructions for changing batteries on page
4. Remove batteries when storing the radios.

Stay alert
. Watch what you are doing, use common sense. Do not operate the
radio when performing another task.

Check for damaged parts
. Before using this product, any part that appears
damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly
and perform its intended function. Check for alignment and binding of moving
parts; any broken parts; and any other condition that may affect proper operation.
Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by a qualified
technician.

Battery Safety.
Never use different types of batteries at the same time, or use
discharged batteries along with charged batteries. Do not attempt to recharge
batteries that are not designed to be rechargeable.

Product Specific Use and Safety Precautions
1.
Do not hold the antenna while the radio is in use. Transmission quality is affected.
Best operation is attained during line-of-sight transmission.
2.
The radio has been factory adjusted and tested. Do not attempt to open the radio
and made adjustments or replace parts (except batteries).
3.
Avoid using the radio in dusty, humid, and high temperature environments.
