UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure all the parts shown on the Parts List on
page 13 are included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools
at the number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, refer
to the Assembly Diagram on page 14 and FIGURE 2 below.
1.
CAUTION: Always make sure the Power Cord of the Food Slicer is unplugged
from its electrical outlet
prior to making any adjustments to it and before using the
appliance.
2.
Position the Food Slicer on a clean, dry, smooth surface.
3.
Fit the Food Tray (6) so that it snaps into the slots on each side of the Working
Table (37).
4.
Place the Food Pusher (7) on the Food Tray (6) so that the groove on the Food
Pusher (7) fits over the ridge on the Food Tray (6). See the Assembly Drawing on
page 14.
Warning! To avoid damage to the Food Pusher (7) while slicing, make sure to
stop the slicing process when the amount of food left on the Slicer is at least 2
times as thick as the slices you are cutting. Always keep the leading edge of the
Food Pusher (7) from interfering with the Blade (22).
5.
On the back of the unit, set the Thickness Adjustment Knob (1) to determine the
thickness of individual slices. See FIGURE 1.
