Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure the following parts are included.
If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number
on the cover of this manual.

Steps
1.
Aim the Prism towards a bright light and turn the Adjusting Ring of Diopter
until the reticle (internal meter) can be seen clearly.
2.
Twist off the Correction Screw rubber cap.
3.
Open the Cover Plate and place one or two drops of distilled water on the
prism and immediately close the Cover Plate.
3.
While viewing the reticle, take the supplied screwdriver and adjust until the
light and dark boundary line fall on the Water Line. (See photo on the next
page.) Replace Correction Screw rubber cap.
