AUTOMATED LEARNING PROCESS/ACTIVATING CODE
2. Restore electrical power. Within 30 seconds of
restoring electrical power, press the “ ” button on
the front of the remote control transmitter (O) for 5
seconds or until light on the fan blinks twice.Use the
remote control to test the light and fan functions (see
operating instructions on pages 15 and 16) to
confirm the learning process is complete.
IMPORTANT
: To prevent damage to remote control
transmitter (O), remove the battery (P) if not used for
long periods. Store the remote control transmitter
(O) away from excess heat or humidity.
Remove battery cover from back side of remote
control transmitter (O).
Locate dimmer switch located
to the right of the code
switches--dimmer switch is labeled with a “
D
” and an
“
X
”
. Dimmer switch is pre-set to the “OFF” [
X
]
positi
on. Most LED bulbs, including the LED bulbs
provided with this fan, are not compatible for use
with dimmer controls; therefore, the dimmer switch
must remain in the
“OFF” [
X
]
position.
Install the 12-volt battery (P) and then replace
battery cover on remote control transmitter (O).

CAUTION:
The remote control transmitter (O)
can be programmed to multiple receivers or fans. If
this is
not
desired, turn wall switch off to any other
programmable receiver or fan.
