Dishwasher operation
Preparation
Requirements:
– You have read chapter „Safety“ on page
GB-6 and understand all the safety notices.
– The appliance is set up and connected as
described in chapter „Installation, connec-
tion and initial commissioning“ on page
GB-22.
– Dishwasher detergent, rinse aid and dish-
washer salt and multitabs are added.
1. Open the tap completely.
2. Leave the dishwasher door open.
3. Press the button (1) to switch on the
dishwasher.
You will hear a signal tone and the display
and all LEDs will illuminate briefly.
Selecting the dishwasher
programme
It is recommended that you carry out
a test run before the fi rst dishwasher
cycle in order to remove residues from
the manufacturing process and in order to
ensure that the device functions perfectly.
Carry out this test run when the dishwasher
is empty and without any dishwasher deter-
gent.
1. Select the suitable dishwashing pro-
gramme based on the “Dishwasher pro-
gramme table”, see page GB-16.
2. Press the
P
(2) button as often as required
until the display (4) shows the desired
programme duration (5).
3. Close the door to start the wash pro-
gramme.
During the programme cycle the two dots
between the hour and the minute will
flash in the display (5).
4. When the programme has finished, a sig-
nal tone will sound eight times.
Now turn off the water tap and press the
(1) button to switch off the dishwasher.
5. Continue with „Unloading the dishwasher“
on page GB-19.
Additional options
You can combine the various dishwashing
programmes with additional options. The
additional options must be selected before
starting the wash programme.
– “Intensive cleaning”
(6):
This option allows you to further improve
the cleaning results.
– “Extra-dry” (7):
This option produces an improved drying
result.
– “Saving energy” (9):
This option reduces the energy consump-
tion. It is recommended for crockery with
minimal staining.
– “Shorten programme cycle”
(10)
This option shortens the programme cycle.
It is recommended for crockery with mini-
mal staining.
• To switch the option
– on, press the
F
(14) button until the LED
is flashing in the display under the cor-
responding symbol.
