Dishwasher operation

You can interrupt an active dishwasher pro-
gramme at any point and start a new one.
However, do not forget to add extra dish-
washer detergent if the programme has al-
ready been running for a longer period and
the cover of the dishwasher detergent com-
partment is already open.
1. Press the button (10) to interrupt the
dishwashing programme.
The LED behind the programme symbol
will now be permanently illuminated.
2. If required, add extra dishwasher deter-
gent.
3. Press the P (9) button for the amount of
time required until the LED is no longer
illuminated behind the programme sym-
bols.
4. Select the new programme and any addi-
tional options as described at the begin-
ning of the chapter.
5. Press button (10).
The newly selected dishwashing pro-
gramme will start.
Adding dishes
CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
If you open the dishwasher door, hot
steam will come out.

Maintain a suffi cient distance from
the door and do not hold your head
or upper body directly above the
open door.
■
Keep children and pets away from the
appliance when opening the door.
■
Make sure that children do not open
the door during operation.
You can add more dishes even if the dish-
washer programme is already running.
In this case, the current dishwashing pro-
gramme should only have been running for
a short time, as only then can the additional
dishes be cleaned.
1. Press the button (10), in order to inter-
rupt the dishwasher programme.
The LED behind the programme symbol
will now light up permanently.
2. Open the dishwasher door slightly and
wait until both spraying arms have come
to a standstill.
3. Slowly open the door completely.
4. Add the dishes.
5. Close the door.
6. Press the button (10) to continue the
dishwashing programme.
A signal tone will sound at regular
intervals while the dishwasher pro-
gramme is interrupted.
