Connection
Depending on the installation recess, the
appliance must be connected before or after
installation.
• To connect your new appliance to the
electricity supply, you will need a profes-
sionally installed earthed socket with ade-
quate fuse protection (see ‘Data sheet’ on
page EN-40).
• The plug socket must be located away
from the back of the microwave, other-
wise the plug will touch the back panel
and the microwave will not push all the
way in.
• Before plugging in the mains plug, check
that the connection voltage of the appli-
ance corresponds to the mains voltage in
your home (see type plate on the back of
the appliance).
• Do not use multiplugs or extension ca-
bles!
• Do not attach the mains cord to the back
of the appliance.
After inserting the mains plug into the socket,
a beep sounds and the display flashes
00:00
(see Chapter ‘Clock’ on page EN-16).
Inserting the appliance
1. Push the appliance into the installation
compartment until the front panel meets
the frame of the installation compartment.
(32)
2. Screw the appliance into the drilled
holes (32) using the screws provided and
a Phillips screwdriver.
Open the door with the emergency
door opener if necessary.
Cleaning before use
The appliance should be cleaned before first
use, for example to ensure that packaging
remnants will not negatively affect the taste
of food (see page EN-31).
