CAUTION

Bread can catch fi re. Flamma-
ble objects placed immedi-
ately next to the toaster may
ignite easily!

Do not position/operate
the toaster near or beneath
curtains or other fl amma-
ble materials. Never leave
the toaster unattended.
– The appliance location must be
stable, even and heat-resistant.
– The toaster must be kept out of
the reach of young children.
– There must be sufficient space
above it.
– The toaster may not be oper-
ated directly beneath a wall
cupboard as heat is released
upwards.
Cable tidy
(10)
A cable tidy (10) is located under
the toaster. You can shorten the
cable length with this as required.

Odour or smoke may be
produced during initial use.
This is normal and is not an
error. Make sure there is ad-
equate ventilation.
Use it empty at least 5 times with
the windows open.
