– The hob must be positioned in such a way
that the air outlet is not compromised.

• Cut a recess in the worktop: 560 ×
490 mm (W × D).
If a hob was already installed, the recess cut
for it must have the same dimensions.
Installing the hob
1. Take the hob out of the packaging.
2. Remove all protective and packaging ma-
terials.
3. Place the hob, with the sensor field facing
forward, into the worktop recess. Align it
evenly and press it firmly into place.

4. Use the supplied retaining clamps to fix
the hob in place to prevent it from slip-
ping. Depending on the thickness of the
worktop, you must rotate the retaining
clamps as illustrated above and tighten
on the hob from below:.
5. Clean the hob thoroughly before its
first use (see "Cleaning the hob“ on
page GB-20).

The hob may only be connected by
authorised specialist staff, such as our
Technical Service (see page GB-27).
This also applies when disconnecting
from the power supply and disman-
tling the old appliance. Unauthorised
persons may not establish a connec-
tion to the power supply. You can en-
danger yourself and subsequent us-
ers!
