Safety
Danger of explosion!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to explosions.
■
Do not store any textiles that were
recently treated with chemical deter-
gents such as white spirit or stain re-
mover in the washing machine. Such
textiles should first be left to air and
dry.
■
Do not store any combustible or easi-
ly flammable liquids in the vicinity of
the washing machine.
Risk of burns!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to burns.
■
The glass of the door can get hot dur-
ing operation. Do not touch the glass
during operation.
■
Do not touch the outlet hose during
draining.
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in injury.
■
The appliance is very heavy. Nev-
er transport or carry the appliance
alone; always with the assistance of
another person.

Remove all obstacles on the transport
route and from the installation loca-
tion, e.g. open doors and clear away
objects lying on the floor.
■
Do not use the open door as a hand-

NOTICE
Risk of material damage
■
If a trolley is used to move the wash-
ing machine, it must be lifted as
shown on the packaging. Always
transport the washing machine verti-
cally and using the built-in transport
safety devices.
■
Remove all transport safety devices
prior to installation.
■
If the washing machine is installed
in a location prone to frost, residual
water in the appliance can freeze at
minus temperatures and cause dam-
age. Therefore drain residual water if
there is a risk of frost. Large volumes
of water may escape during empty-
ing.
■
Do not place the washing machine
on top of other appliances and do
not use as a support for other appli-
ances (e.g. for tumble dryers). Do not
stand or sit on the washing machine.
■
Do not place the washing machine
on carpeted floors. Doing so would
prevent sufficient ventilation, causing
the appliance to overheat and be-
come damaged.
■
For rugs, carpet, parquet or wooden
floors, a sturdy wooden plate (at least
60 x 60) must be placed underneath
the washing machine.
■
The washing machine should not be
left unattended for an extended pe-
riod while the supply valve is open.
Large volumes of water may escape
in the event of a leak.
■
CAUTION: Do not connect to the hot
water supply.
