door seal is not completely
tight.

The appliance is near a heat
source.
Observe minimum distances (see page
GB-21). If necessary, place insulation plate
between the appliances or change loca-
tion.
Food has been stored warm. Only store cooled foods.
Too many goods frozen.
Maintain maximum freezing capacity (see
„Product fiche concerning Regulation (EU)
Nr. 1060/2010“ on page GB-29).
Thick ice layer in the freezer
area.
Defrost the freezer compartment (see „De-
frosting and cleaning the inner compart-
ment“ on page GB-17).
Ambient temperature too low
or too high.
Adjust the ambient temperature to the
climate category (see „Product fiche con-
cerning Regulation (EU) Nr. 1060/2010“ on
page GB-29).
Compressor seems defec-
tive.
Set the temperature controller to “7”. If the
compressor does not switch on within an
hour, please contact our service centre (see
page GB-27).
Appliance is mak-
ing a noise.
Operating noises are func-
tional and are not a sign of
malfunction.
Humming: Refrigeration unit is running.
Flowing noise: Refrigerant is

through the pipes.
Clicking: Compressor is switching on or off.
Disturbing noises.
Check that it is stable.
Remove any objects from the appliance.
Remove any foreign matter from the back
of the appliance.

Unblock the thaw water drain with the help
