Connect the appliance to the
water supply

NOTICE

Risk of water damage!
The improper connection of the water
supply can lead to water damage.

■

The appliance is set up for a water
pressure of 2-7 bar. For higher water
pressure, a pressure regulator must be
installed. If in doubt, enquire about
the water pressure with the water
supply company.

■

Do not connect the appliance to the
tap or mixing arm of a water heat-
er (e.g. continuous ﬂ ow heater, pres-
sure-free boiler).

■

Please ensure that the hoses are not
kinked and that they are carefully
connected.

■

Do not extend the supplied inlet hose
if it is too short. In this case, please
contact our Service department (see
page GB-41).

■

Do not use any old or previously in-
stalled hoses.

You require a valve with a ¾-inch connecting
thread for the water supply.

1. Make sure that the water inlet is closed.

2. Push the inlet hose (52) into the ¾ inch

screw connector (51) and fix the inlet
hose with a safety clip (49).

3. Tighten the ¾-inch screw connection to

the tap by hand.

4. Open the water inlet.
5. Check the hose connections for leaks.
6. Allow for at least 3.5 L of water to flow

through the hose system, in order to re-
move any air that might be present.

Leakages

If there are leaks, proceed as follows:

1. Close the water inlet.
2. Hold a container or cloth underneath the

leak to trap any small quantities of water.

3. Loosen the hose connector at the point of

leakage.

4. Re-connect the hose.
5. Open the water inlet.
6. Check the hose connection again for any

signs of leakage.
If the problem persists, please contact our
Service department (see page GB-41).

Operating appliance without a
water filter

If the tap water in your house is free from
particles and residues, you can operate the
appliance without a water filter.

• Connect the white appliance hose (54)

directly to the water supply. When neces-
sary, extend the white appliance hose by
using the extension hose (55) (see "14.9
cm“ on page GB-35).
