Locking
• Press and hold the LOCK/UNLOCK but-
ton (20) for 3 seconds.
A tune plays, and the
LOCK
signal (21) ap-
pears on the display.
If no button is pressed for 30 seconds,
the control panel will lock automatically.
Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer.

Always ensure the prescribed ambi-
ent temperature is maintained (see
“Intended use” on page EN-4).
If you set a lower temperature, you will
need a higher cooling performance.
This increases the energy consump-
tion.
You can use the buttons FRZ.TEMP. (15) and
REF.TEMP. (19) to set the temperature in the
freezer and in the refrigerator independently
of each other.
• First select a medium setting.
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, select a lower set-
ting accordingly.

1. Press the FRZ.TEMP. button (15) once.
The signal (16) will flash.
2. Press the FRZ.TEMP. button (15) repeat-
edly until the desired temperature is dis-
played. The temperature is set as soon as
the display changes to the “Lock” status.

The signal (17) will flash.
2. Press the REF.TEMP. button (19) repeat-
edly until the desired temperature is dis-
played. Once the indicator stays illuminat-
ed, the temperature has been set.
