Adjusting the doors
It may be that the doors are not on the same
level, even if the fridge-freezer itself is com-
pletely level. In this case, you can adjust the
position of the doors by lowering or lifting the
door to the fridge compartment.
NOTICE
The doors can be adjusted by a maxi-
mum of 5mm.
1. Open the door to the fridge compartment
wide.

3. Turn the adjusting nut (b) in the desired
direction until the doors are on the same
level.
4. Tighten the locknut (a) again by turning it
anticlockwise.
Cleaning before use
To remove the odour that comes with all new
appliances, clean the appliance before using
it (see "Cleaning the fridge compartment“
and "Cleaning the freezer compartment“ on
page GB-23).
Connecting the appliance
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
If the cooling unit has been transport-
ed horizontally, lubricant from the com-
pressor may get into the cooling circuit.
■
If possible, do not tilt the cooling ap-
pliance horizontally.
■
Allow the appliance to stand upright
for approx. 2 hours after transport
and before connecting. This allows
the lubricant enough time to fl ow
back into the compressor.
• Insert the mains plug into an easily acces-
sible socket (220-240 V~ / 50 Hz). When
the fridge compartment is open, the interi-
or lighting (1) is now switched on.
You will find all important information
about operation from page GB-12.
