• The “0” setting switches off the appliance,
and is reached by turning the temperature
controller as far as it will go.
• First select a medium setting.
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, so select a lower
setting accordingly.
A fridge thermometer is required to be able to
control the temperature inside the appliance.
• To control the fridge compartment temper-
ature, place the fridge thermometer in the
centre of the lowest glass shelf (11).
• To control the freezer compartment tem-
perature, place the fridge thermometer in
the freezer compartment (1).
The ideal temperature in the fridge compart-
ment is +6 °C. The ideal storage temperature
in the freezer compartment is –18 °C.
If you set a lower temperature, you
will require greater refrigeration per-
formance. This increases energy con-
sumption.
Rearranging glass shelves
and door shelves
You will achieve the most efficient use of en-
ergy for your appliance if you combine the
drawers, glass shelves and door shelves as
shown in the figure on page EN-10.
The glass shelves (11), bottle rack (10), door
shelves (4) and (5) can be taken out and re-
arranged if necessary.
1. Lift and remove the glass shelves, bottle
shelf or door shelves.
2. Insert the glass shelves, bottle shelf or
door shelves from above into the desired
new position.
