– Store preserves, jars and eggs on the
lower large door shelf (3), the small door
shelf (4) or the bottle racks (6). Eggs are
best placed in the supplied egg tray.
– Place drinks cartons and bottles on the
bottle racks (6). Position full containers
closer to the hinge in order to reduce the
strain on the door.
– Place tightly sealed bottles on the bottle
racks (6) or place them lying down on
the bottle rack (11).
– Store cooked and baked foods on the
glass shelves (12).
– Store fresh fruit and vegetables in the
fruit/vegetable drawer (8).
– Store fresh meat, game, poultry, ba-
con, sausage and raw fish in the
fish/meat drawer (9) or on the glass
shelf (10) above the fish/meat draw-
er (9). This is where the temperature is
lowest.
• Only store strong alcohol standing upright
and tightly closed.
• Allow hot food to cool before placing it in
the fridge.
The temperatures within the appliance
and, therefore, its energy consumption
may increase if the appliance door (2) is fre-
quently opened or kept open for long peri-
ods, or if the ambient temperature exceeds
the stipulated minimum or maximum levels
(see “Intended use” on page EN-4).
Maintaining quality
• To maintain the flavour and freshness of
food in the fridge, only place packaged
food in the fridge. Use special plastic con-
tainers for food or conventional films.
• Place the food
– in the fridge in a way that allows the air to
circulate freely. Do not cover the shelves
with paper or anything similar.
– somewhere that is not directly against
the rear wall. Otherwise it may freeze
onto the rear wall.
