NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the refrigerator may result in dam-
age.
• Bases, drawers, doors, etc. must not be used as steps
or for support purposes. You could be injured.
• As far as possible, the refrigerator should not be kept
at an incline of more than 45° during transport.
• Place the refrigerator on a level and stable surface.
• If possible, do not tilt the refrigerator into a horizontal
position. Only rest it against the wall to change the
door hinges.
If the refrigerator has been carried on its side for an
extended time, lubricant from the compressor may
have got into the refrigeration circuit. In this case,
leave the refrigerator in its normal position for about
12 hours before switching it on. This allows the lubri-
cant enough time to flow back into the compressor.
• Never use harsh, granular, soda, acid or solvent-based
or abrasive cleaning agents. They could damage the
surfaces. All-purpose cleaners with a neutral pH are
recommended.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to
accelerate the defrosting process, other than those
recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food stor-
age compartments of the appliance, unless they are
of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
• Only use soft cleaning cloths.
• Only use cleaning products on the outer surfaces of
the refrigerator.
• Make sure that no cleaning water gets into the electri-
cal parts and the drain opening.
• The seals of the door are sensitive to oil and grease.
The surfaces can be damaged by unsuitable cleaning
agents. Therefore do not grease the door seals.
• Do not use any sharp objects when removing protec-
tive films from the door surface.
