Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer compart-
ment.
■
Always adhere to the prescribed
ambient temperature (see “climate
classes” in the data sheet at the end
of this user manual).
Using the temperature controller (13), you
can set the temperature in the fridge and
freezer compartments.
When switching on the appliance (plugging
the mains plug into the socket), the appliance
starts with the setting ‘6’ (i.e. 6 °C).
• First select a medium setting.
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, so select a lower
setting accordingly.
How to set the temperature:
1. Press the temperature setting button (18).
When the temperature setting button (18)
is released, there will be a beep and the
next thermostat setting display will start to
flash.
If you do not press a button for 1 second,
the display will flash three times, then two
beeps will sound.
Your selection is now confirmed.
2. To change the temperature settings
again, repeat step 1.
The temperature setting can only
be changed in one direction, from
left to right:
