Problem
Possible cause

The dishwasher
cannot be switched on.
The mains plug has not
been inserted into a
socket.
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
There is no voltage being
supplied through the
socket.
Check the fuse. Check the socket by
connecting another device.

The selected
programme will not
start or it stops.
The
button was not
pressed.
Press the
button.
The dishwasher’s door is
not closed properly.
Close the dishwasher door.
The water tap is not
properly on.
Turn the water tap on completely.
The inlet hose is
defective.
Contact our service Centre (see “Service” on
page EN-40).
There is a risk of
overflowing. The electrical
water stop system has
been activated.
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.

dishwasher puts the person carrying
out the repairs and the user in danger.

Only carry out the actions which are
described in this user manual.

Never repair defective dishwashers –
or dishwashers which you presume to
be defective – yourself. You can en-
danger yourself and subsequent us-
ers.

Improper handling of the dishwasher
can lead to property damage and to
damage to the dishwasher.

If water overflows, switch off the
water supply immediately and then
contact the Service department (see
page EN-40).
■
If the water has overflowed, remove
any water standing in the dishwash-
er before relaunching a dishwashing
programme.
