Problems with operation
Problem
Possible cause
Solution
The dishwasher
cannot be switched
on.
The mains plug has not been
inserted into a socket.
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
There is no voltage being sup-
plied through the socket.
Check the fuse. Check the socket by
connecting another device.
The selected dish-
washing programme
will not start or it
stops.
The dishwasher’s door is not
closed properly.
Close the dishwasher door.
The water tap is not properly
on.
Turn the water tap on completely.
The inlet hose is defective.
Contact our Service department (see
page EN-40).
There is a risk of overflowing.
The electrical water stop sys-
tem has been activated.
The display will
light up although
dishwasher salt has
been added.
The dishwasher salt is clumpy. Stir the dishwasher salt using the end
of a spoon or similar.
The water is not
running or it is
running only very
slowly.
There is a kink in the inlet
hose.
Arrange the inlet hose properly so that
it is not kinked (please see page EN-29).
The water tap is not properly
on.
Turn the water tap on completely.
The water is not
running off or only
very slowly.
The filters are blocked.
Clean the filters (see „Checking and
cleaning the filters“ on page EN-26).
The outlet hose is kinked, has
been extended or is hanging
too high up/too low.
Lay out the outlet hose in a proper
manner (see page EN-29).
The dishwasher is
not watertight.
The door seal is defective.
Have the door seal replaced (see
„Service“ on page EN-40).
The outlet hose or the inlet
hose is defective.
Have the defective hose replaced (see
„Service“ on page EN-40).
The dishwasher
can be switched on/
off, but not cannot
be operated.
The dishwasher can only be
operated when the appliance
door is closed.
Close the appliance door.
