Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer compart-
ment.
■
Always adhere to the prescribed am-
bient temperature (see “climate class-
es” in the accompanying data sheet
at the end of this user manual).
Using the temperature controller (3), you can
set the temperature in the fridge and freezer
compartments.
• First select a medium setting.
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, select a lower set-
ting accordingly.
In order to
– increase the refrigeration output in the
fridge and freezer compartments, turn the
temperature controller towards “7”.
– decrease the refrigeration output in the
fridge and freezer compartments, turn the
temperature controller towards “1”.
You ideally need two refrigerator/freezer ther-
mometers to be able to control the refrigera-
tion output.
Place one
• above the vegetable drawers (7) in the
fridge compartment; the correct tempera-
ture here is +6 °C.
• in the freezer compartment; the ideal stor-
age temperature is
−
18 ° C.
Shelves and door shelves
The glass shelf (9), door shelves (4) and the
bottle rack (6) can be taken out and rear-
ranged if necessary.
1. Lift up and remove the shelf/door com-
partment.
2. Insert the shelf/door compartment from
above into the new position.
