4. Clean the prefilter (5) either
with a brush by brushing side-
ways over the filter or with the
vacuum cleaner.
When cleaning the prefilter (5)
with the vacuum cleaner,
always keep the nozzle of
the vacuum cleaner about
5-10 mm from the surface of
the filter.
If the prefilter (5) is very dirty,
you can soak it in a normal
detergent solution for 10 min-
utes and then carefully clean
it with a brush. Then leave the
prefilter to
dry out completely
before reinserting it.
5. Clean the prefilter (5) as de-
scribed in section “Inserting
the filter“ see “Inserting the fil-
ter“ on page EN-13). Make sure
that the connector pins (28)
slide into the openings (29).
6. Replace the filter cover (6).
Make sure that the connector
pins (30) slide into the open-
ings (31).
7. Connect the mains plug to the
socket and switch the appli-
ance on.

8. Press the ION button (12) for
