The hygiene filter should be
cleaned at the same time as the
motor protection filter.
If odours cannot be removed by
cleaning or the filter is too heavily
soiled, it must be replaced.
1. Pull the mains plug (23) out of
the socket.

2. Press the locking but-
ton (30) on the filter cov-
er (31) of the hygiene filter and
remove the cover (31).

3. Press the locking mecha-
nism (32) of the hygiene fil-
ter (33), and lift the hygiene
filter (33) out.
4. Rinse the hygiene filter (33)
with clean water only, then
shake out the water and/or
clean it with compressed air.
Never use detergent or wash-
ing-up liquid to clean the hy-
giene filter (33).
5. Allow the hygiene filter to dry
out (33) completely .
6. Reinsert the hygiene filter and
the filter cover.
