Air by-pass vent

You can adjust the suction force
as needed by using the air by-
pass vent (23). The covering of
the air by-pass vent can be ad-
justed as desired.

Should you accidentally
allow the vacuum cleaner

to come into contact with an
object, opening the air by-pass
vent immediately reduces the
suction force. This remedial
action will prevent such items
from being drawn into the dust
bin.
