Requirements for safe use
You have read chapter "5 minutes for your
safety ...“ starting on page GB-4 and under-
stand all the safety notices.
The appliance is set up and plugged in as
described in chapter "Getting started“ starting
on page GB-19.
Temperature control knob
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer compart-
ment.

Always adhere to the prescribed am-
bient temperature (see data sheet at
the end of this user manual).
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to property damage.

The interior light must only be used
to illuminate the interior of the appli-
ance. It is not suitable for lighting a
room.
The temperature in the fridge and freezer
compartments is set using the temperature
control knob. The cooling power is adjustable
from “0” (Off) to “7” (lowest temperature).
Switching on
First select a medium setting. The ideal stor-
age temperature for frozen food is -18°C
(check with a fridge/freezer thermometer, if
necessary). If the ambient temperature in-
creases (e.g. in summer) select a higher set-
ting accordingly.
Switching off
Switch off your appliance if you do not plan to
use it for an extended period of time.
Temperature control knob
1. Switch temperature control knob to “0”.
2. Empty, defrost and clean appliance.
3. Leave the door ajar to prevent mould for-
mation inside.
4. Unplug the mains plug if not in use for
longer periods.
