2. Set the desired defrosting time using the
control dial (13).
The defrosting time must be a minimum of
5 seconds and a maximum of 95:00 min-
utes.
3. Press the “Start /+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (12).
Defrosting starts. The required defrosting time
is counted down in the display. 5 beeps will
sound once the defrosting time has elapsed.
You can extend the defrosting time
as described in the “Extending the
cooking time” section.
Multilevel cooking
You can set two different cooking levels – e.g.
when you first wish to defrost a dish at a high
power then finish the cooking process at a
lower power.
If you wish to cook at multiple levels,
you cannot select an automatic pro-
gramme.
Example:
You want to initially defrost a dish
that you had frozen for 10 minutes, and then
complete the cooking process in 15 minutes
with 80% microwave power.
1. Press the “Defrost by weight/time” but-
ton (10) twice.

4. Press the “Microwave” button (15) once
again.
The flashing display changes to “

ton (12).

” stops flashing.
6. Turn the control dial (13) until “
15:00
” ap-
pears on the display.
7. Press the “Start /+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (12).
The programme begins. The required de-
frosting time is counted down in the display.
When the defrosting time has elapsed and
the cooking time begins, a short beep will
sound. 5 signal tones will sound once the
cooking time has elapsed.
You can extend the cooking time as
described in the “Extending the
cooking time” section.
Using the automatic
programmes
The appliance has 8 automatic programmes
which can be selected using the control
dial (13). The following table provides you
with a brief overview:
