3. Ensure that your food is kept cool enough.
If you do not have the opportunity to store
the frozen food in another freezer in the
meantime, wrap it up in a thick layer of
newspaper and store it in a cool room or
in an insulated bag while it is defrosting.
4. Remove the drawers from the freezer.
Wash them in warm water with wash-
ing-up liquid and dry thoroughly.
5. To clean the fridge, remove the fruit/veg-
etable drawer (6), the drawer of the flex-
ible zone (8), the drawer of the moisture
zone (14) as well as the glass shelves (2)
and (3).
6. To remove the glass shelves (2) and (3),
lift them slightly at the front and then pull
them out of the guide rail.
7. To remove the door shelves (5), simply
pull them upwards out of the holders.
8. Clean all of the parts in lukewarm soapy
water. Then dry everything thoroughly.
9. Wash the interior with warm water and
washing up liquid.
10. When wiping clean, add a few drops of
vinegar to the water to prevent mould
from forming.
Wipe the appliance’s interior dry.
11. Clean the door seals with clean water
only; they are sensitive to oil and fat.
12. Replace the glass shelves, the drawers
and the door shelves.
13. Return the food to the fridge or freezer.
14. Insert the mains plug back in the sock-
et and activate the quick-refrigeration
and quick-freeze function as described
in sections “Changing the settings” on
page EN-12.
15. As soon as the freezer has reached a
temperature of –18 °C, switch the temper-
atures in the fridge and freezer back to the
previous values as described in section
“Changing the settings” on page EN-12.

1. Remove the ice cube maker (30) from the
storage container (31), and remove the
lid (35) from the ice cube maker (30).
2. Wash the ice cube maker (30), the storage
container (31) and the lid (35) with warm,
soapy water. Then rinse them well with
clean water.
3. Reassemble the ice cube maker (30), stor-
age container (31) and lid (35).
