Connection to the power supply – notes for the installer

Faulty electrical installation or excessive
mains voltage may result in an electric
shock.

The appliance may only be connected
by authorised specialists such as our
Technical Service (see page EN-28).
This also applies when disconnecting
from the power supply and disman-
tling the old appliance. Unauthorised
persons may not establish a connec-
tion to the power supply. You can en-
danger yourself and subsequent us-
ers!

Since all poles of the appliance can-
not be disconnected from the mains
via an accessible disconnecting de-
vice, an all-pole disconnecting device
in accordance with overvoltage cat-
egory III must be connected within
the house installation with at least 3
mm contact clearance.
Connection conditions
– The appliance is designed for alternating
current 220 – 240 V~ / 380 – 415 V 3N~ /
50 Hz.
– A separate power supply is required.
– The appliance may be connected only to a
pre-installed mains cable of type H07RN-F
with a conductor cross-section of at least
4 × 2.5 mm
2

– When connecting the appliance, VDE
specifications and the “Technical connec-
tion requirements” must be observed.
Contact protection must be guaranteed.
Connecting the mains cable
1. Before accessing the terminals, switch
off all supply circuits and secure them
against being switched on again.
2. Make sure that the connection cables are
voltage-free on all poles.
3. Make sure that effective earthing is pos-
sible before connecting to the appropriate
terminal.

4. Connect the mains cable to the cooker
outlet as shown in the wiring diagram.
5. Lay out the mains cable in such a way
that it does not touch the housing of the
appliance, as the housing can get very
hot during operation
