Choose a suitable location

Improper handling of the appliance
may result in injury.

The appliance is heavy and bulky.
Seek the help of another person dur-
ing transport, installation and assem-
bly.
■
If a trolley is used to move the appli-
ance, the appliance must be moved
as shown on the packaging.
■
Only lift the appliance as shown on
the packaging.
■
Remove all obstacles on the transport
route and from the installation loca-
tion, e.g. open doors and clear away
objects lying on the fl oor.
Risk of electric shock!
Faulty electrical installation or excessive
mains voltage may result in an electric
shock.
■
Check whether your electricity sup-
plier has any regulations about con-
necting dishwashers.
■
Ensure that the mains plug (28) re-
mains easily accessible after the dish-
washer has been set up and installed.
■
Never use multi-socket adapters,
multi-socket strips, travel adapters or
the like.
■
We recommend using a pulse-sensi-
tive residual current device (RCD).
The planned location must fulfil the following
prerequisites:
– Note that the installation location must be
able to support a total weight of 38 kg.

– The location must be a dry and frost-safe
room with a firm ground.
– The dishwasher must be positioned be-
neath a full work surface which is joined
together with the cupboards adjacent to the
dishwasher.
– The dishwasher must be set up close to a
basin/sink for installation of the connection
lines. The dimensions of the space must
meet the specifications in the following
graphic as a minimum.

Connecting the outlet hose
NOTICE
Potential malfunction!
Waste water must be able to run away
freely at all times.
■
Ensure that the waste pipe has a di-
ameter of 40 mm.
■
Ensure that there are no kinks or dam-
age to the outlet hose.
■
Make sure that the end of the hose is
not submerged in the pumped water.
■
Do not extend the outlet hose or re-
place with another drainage pipe.
