Requirements for safe
operation
– You have read chapter „For your safety“ on
page GB-4 and understand all the safety
notices.
– The exhaust hood is assembled as de-
scribed in chapter „Assembly“ on page
GB-11.
Lighting
Your exhaust hood is equipped with one LED.
The lighting can be switched on or off inde-
pendently of the fans.
To switch the lighting on or off, use the
slider (13) .
Fan
The fan has three settings:
I
= slow,
II
= medium and
III
= fast.
• To set the desired fan setting, use the
slider (14).
Activated charcoal filter
• When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
• If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.
• For the source of supply, please see
chapter „Our Service Centre“ on page
GB-20.
• To insert „Inserting/replacing activated
charcoal filters“ on page GB-17.
Tips on saving energy
– Only switch on the fan when needed; oth-
erwise, energy will be wasted.
– Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes
or steam are present.
– The fan is not needed when cooking only
briefly or warming up foods that have lit-
tle or no odour.
– Ensure that there is enough supply air; oth-
erwise, the exhaust hood may not function
optimally. If necessary, open the window or
kitchen door.
– Clean grease filters (16) regularly.
