Operation
Before getting started
• Read chapter "Safety“ from page EN-4, in
particular all the safety notices.
• Set up or install the appliance and con-
nect it to the mains as described in chap-
ter "Start-up“ from page EN-24.
The control panel

The control panel (1) can be used to turn the
appliance on or off, among other functions.
It is located above the fridge compartment’s
door.
The control panel can only be
accessed when the fridge compart-
ment door is open.
Switching the appliance on
and off
1. Open the fridge compartment door in
order to access and activate the control
panel (1).

button (18) on the control
panel.
A beep will sound. If you switch on the ap-
pliance for the first time, the LED showing

the previous temperature setting will light
up on the temperature indicator (16) of the
control panel (1).
The appliance is then switched on. The
compressor starts to work, the refrigerant
flows through the pipes and a quiet hum-
ming sound can be heard. The interior light-
ing will turn on when you open the door; it
will switch off when the door is closed.
3. If the appliance is making unusual noise,
check that it is stable and remove any ob-
jects on top of it.
Switching off
1. Press the
button (18) on the control
panel (1) for 3 seconds.
A beep will sound. All LEDs will go off.
The compressor will switch off. The appli-
ance doesn’t refrigerate.
2. To switch the appliance off completely,
pull out the mains plug.
3. If the appliance is switched off, leave the
door open slightly to avoid mould formation.
Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer compart-
ment.

Always ensure the ambient tempera-
ture is kept within the specifi ed range
(see “Intended use” on page EN-4).
If you set a lower temperature, you
will require greater refrigeration per-
formance. This increases the energy
consumption.
