Check and confirm whether the liquid level
is between "UPPER LEVEL" and "LOWER
LEVEL"
1: "UPPER LEVEL"
2: "LOWER LEVEL"
If the liquid level is at or lower than “Lower
Level”, distilled water should be added.
When the electrolyte level is found to be seriously insufficient, the case should be carefully checked
for cracking, leakage or battery failure.
When the battery capacity status is normal and the electrolyte density reaches the standard, the
observation window shows green. When the battery capacity is insufficient, and the density of the
electrolyte is reduced, the observation window is white. If the observation window is red, it indicates
a serious shortage of electrolyte, and the case should be carefully checked for cracking, leakage or
battery failure.
See tips on the battery label for details about battery display state.
3.3.2 Battery maintenance
1) Ensure that the battery electrolyte is at the UPPER LEVEL.
2) Disconnect the battery negative ground strap to prevent battery discharge due to additional current
drain.
3) When batteries cannot be removed from the truck, they should be kept fully charged.
4) A regular schedule should be formulated, and batteries should be charged once every 30
-
45 days.
5) When the battery electrolyte is below the LOWER LEVEL, please add distilled water to the UPPER
LEVEL, and put the vent plug back to the original position and tighten it.
Caution
Avoid overfilling when adding distilled water. Overflow when recharging batteries may cause
corrosion.
IV. Before recharging batteries
During recharging, the hydrogen produced by batteries is flammable and explosive. Therefore,
pay attention to the following matters before operation:
· If batteries that are still installed on the truck are recharged, the ground cable must be
disconnected.
· When connecting and disconnecting battery charger cables, the power switch on the charger
should be off.
