Section 9: Engine Installation

Step 5

Center the engine mount in relationship to the
oval holes in the firewall. Tighten the bolts holding
the mount to the firewall. (Remember to make
sure the barbs on the blind nuts go into the backside
of the firewall.)

Section 10: Throttle Pushrod Installation

Required Parts

• 2-56 x 18" pushrod
• Plastic pushrod sleeve (12”)

Required Tools and Adhesives

• Drill

• Drill Bit: 5/32"

• Felt-tipped pen

• Medium CA

Step 1

Determine the proper location for the throttle
pushrod. Mark the location with a felt-tipped pen.
Remove the engine and drill the firewall for the
pushrod tube using a drill and 5/32" drill bit.
