Parts Needed

• Epoxy brush

• Vertical stabilizer

• 30-minute epoxy
• Long straight edge
• Hobby knife
• Felt-tipped pen/pencil
• Masking tape
• Rubbing alcohol
Step 1
A slot is precut on the rear of the fuselage for the vertical
stabilizer to notch into. Mark the center of the cut out
using a felt-tipped pen or pencil. Also mark the center of
the top of the fuselage. Align the two marks and draw a
20" line on top of the fuselage.
Step 2
Mark the forward center of the vertical stabilizer.
Step 3
Insert the vertical stabilizer into the slot in the rear of the
fuselage and make sure it’s firmly seated against the rear of the
fuselage. With the fin properly aligned, use a felt-tipped pen or
pencil to carefully mark the position of the vertical stabilizer on
both sides where it meets the fuselage.
