The Xclusive does not require a dedicated power supply: power can be 
supplied via an existing wall socket no more than 4m from either end of the  
rail. This makes it quick to install and reduces the requirement for disruption 
to décor and no requirement for building work. 

The battery charger’s power supply should always be connected to the top 
end of the rail. 

The installer should connect the mains power supply in accordance with local 
regulations.

The power consumption of the battery charger is less than 50 Watt which 
means the annual running cost is similar to that of a light bulb. Consequently 
the installation of a dedicated power supply is not required.
