Unbuckle  the  battery  hold  down  straps.    Remove  the  batteries  by 
lifting them up by the carrying strap. 

 
CAUTION - the batteries are much heavier than they appear! 

 
 
 
 
 

 
 
 

 
Unplug the controller connector from the controller box. 
This  connector  has  the  same  safety  latching  feature  mentioned 
earlier. 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 
 

 

Push up on the latch locking lever and pull the latch lever forward.  
This  disengages  the  locking  mechanism  that  couples  the  front 
section to the rear section. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 
Grasp the seat post with one hand and the front tiller with the other 
hand.  Tilt the rear section of the scooter backward using the seat 
post until it rests on its rear bumper. 
   
Grasp the front tiller with one hand and the centre part of the frame 
with the other hand.  Pull up on the frame.  The front section will 
disengage  from  the  rear.    Simply  roll  the  front  section  away from 
the rear by maintaining balance on the front wheel.
