6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the sling
Follow the instructions on the label of the sling
Handwash at a water temperature between 30°C/86°F and maximum 40°C/104°F.
Do not bleach, only use bleach-free washing products
No dry cleaning. No professional dry cleaning. Do not use solvent-based stain remover.
Do not tumble dry
Do not iron. Irreversible changes may occur when using an iron.
7. Inspection
7.1. Inspection by the user (prior to each use)

Before each use, check the fabric, seams, stitching, loops, loop attachments, for possible wear or damage. If
you find wear or damage, replace the sling immediately and discard the old sling.
7.2. Annual inspection

The sling must be inspected at least once a year.
■
When using the sling intensively and washing it often, it is advisable to inspect the sling more frequently.
■
Inspection may only be carried out by Handi-Move or a technician approved by Handi-Move.
■
After the inspection, a report will be prepared documenting the tests that were carried out and the parts that
need to be replaced.
