Operation
To use your USB Config module you will first need to install use Speedlink software, which is available as a free download from
www.hbsensors.com/support/downloads
Connect the ATEX/UKEX USBconfiguration module to the PC via the USB lead.
The software will recognise when the ATEX/UKEX USBmodule is attached. This may take a few minutes the first time the ATEX / UKEX
USBModule is attached while the software drivers are loaded.
Connect the unit you wish to configure to the USBmodule via the appropriate leads (SeeFig 3), refer to the instruments user guide for the
connection details.
In the use Speedlinksoftware select the type of instrument to be configured, the USBmodule will now communicate with the instrument
and present the correct screen for configuring the instrument.

of USBSpeedLink.
Once software Is Installed remove protection
cover from device port, plug In configurator
plugs in to device ports and connect PC to
configurator using USBcable.
In USBSpeedLinksoftware, select Model
type from “Field Product-In Head TX”menu.
For further Information on configuration
please open the help menu on the product
configuration screen.On completion of
configuration remove USBcable and replace
protective cover over socket
