c. Place the end of the lower arch support into a footplate (12). Align the holes in the support with
the holes in the base plate and insert the pin (14) through the holes. Lock the pin with the cotter (15)
and split the cotter legs to secure it in place.
Gently tap on the pieces with a rubber mallet to ensure they are correctly assembled.
3. Assembling the stay.
a. Fit 4 x stays (7) to one of the end walls using the connectors (11) and nut (16), washer (17) and
screw (18). (Fig. D)
b. Insert the male connector on one stay (8) into the other stay (7) (Fig. E).
c. Connect the two parts of the diagonal stay (9, 10) with a nut (21) and screw (20).
d. Secure the other end of the diagonal stay to the corner support (3) using a nut (16), washer (17)
and screw (19). Fasten the other end of the diagonal stay to the side strut (2), the stay (7) and the
stay with male connection (8) using a connector (11), nut (16), washer (17) and screw (18).
