or replaced with longer cables, or if a plug is
fitted, they must be approved for at least 25 A.
FILLING THE TANK
Make sure that the tank is well balanced on
a level surface that can support a full tank.
No special equipment is required to fill the
tank, but handle the filler cap with care so
that impurities do not drop through the
opening or fasten on the cap.
FILLING FUEL FROM THE TANK
When using for the first time there can be a
short delay before the self-priming pump draws
up the fuel.
1. Start the pump and press the fuel nozzle
trigger to let the pump drive the air out
of the hose. After a short while the air will
be exhausted and fuel starts flowing out
through the nozzle.
– During this first venting it is
preferable to take the cap off the fuel
tank and put the nozzle in the tank to
avoid spillage and loss of fuel.
– To fill the fuel tank on a vehicle or
any other tank with fuel from the
transfer tank the pump must be
running and the trigger on the fuel
nozzle held in. The automatic
shut-off stops the fuel nozzle when
the fuel level reaches the end of the
nozzle.
2. Once the auto shut-off operates, switch off
the pump within 2 to 3 minutes to avoid
overheating.

packaging reasons without the hose and fuel
nozzle fitted on the pump. Check before use
that the hose is fitted and secure on the pump
outlet and that the fuel nozzle with swivel
coupling is fitted on the other end.
CONNECTION TO POWER SUPPLY

connecting cables with clips of the jump lead
type, which can be connected directly to a
12 V vehicle battery. Connect the red clip to
the battery’s positive terminal and the black
clip to the vehicle chassis. Switch the cables if
the pump goes in reverse. Always disconnect
the chassis connection first and connect to the
chassis last. If the original cables are extended
