4.  Hanging the Fan 

WARNING

FAILURE TO PROPERLY INSTALL LOCKING 

PIN AS NOTED IN STEP 7 COULD RESULT

 IN FAN LOOSENING AND POSSIBLY

. Pass the 120-volt supply wires through the center 

hole in the ceiling hanger bracket as shown in 

(

Fig. 6

)

Step

. Secure the hanger bracket to the ceiling outlet box 

with  the  screws  and  washers  provided  with  your  outlet 

box.

(OPTIONAL)

NOTE

use  if  desired.    If  you  choose  to  use  the

downrod,  perform the following steps:

1.    Remove  the  hanger  ball  from  the

downrod by  loosening  the  set  screw  at

      downrod  which  holds  the  hanger  ball  to

e

 

      downrod.

2.   Slide  the  hanger  ball  down  the  downrod 

and  remove the support pin.

3.   Insert the support pin in the holes at the  top of 

the 4½" downrod and slide the hanger ball up 

the  4½"  downrod.  Make  sure  the  support  pin 

is properly seated in the grooves in the top of 

the hanger ball.

4.   Tighten the set screw firmly.

Your fan comes with a 6" downrod 

Hanging the Fan

REMEMBER  to  turn  off  the  power.  Follow  the  steps 

below to hang your fan properly:

Step  4.  There  are  three  brackets  on  the  upper  fan 

motor  assembly,  and  one  of  them  is  near  the  plug. 

Remove the 4 screws from the bracket near the plug. 

Attach the scroll with collar to the bracket near the 

plug by screws previously  removed.(Fig.7) Do not 

over  tighten  the  4  screws.Connect  the  socket  from 

the scroll with  collar to the plug from the fan motor 

assembly.(Fig.7)  Remove  the  4  screws  on  the 

bracket,attach  the  scroll  to  the  bracket  by  screws 

previously  removed.Do  not  over  tighten  the  4 

screws.  Remove  the  2  screws  on  the  collar,  attach

the  scroll  to  the  collar  by  the  screws  previously 

removed.  Repeat  with  the  remaining  scroll.

Tighten all screws on the scrolls securely.(Fig. 8)
