Assembly - Installing the Fan without a Light Kit

Attaching without the light kit

In order to use the fan without the light kit, remove the 
switch cup cover (OO) from the top of the light kit fitter 
assembly (H) by removing the center hex nut inside the 
switch cup cover (OO), and then thread the switch cup 
cover (OO) off of the threaded nipple on the top of the light 
kit ftter assembly (H).

 

Press the plastic plug (GG) into the center hole of the switch 
cup cover (OO).

 

Remove the three screws (QQ) on the switch cup cover (OO).

 

Align the three holes in the switch cup cover (OO) with the 
three holes in the switch cup of the fan-motor assembly 
(E). Make sure the notch in the switch cup cover (OO) clears 
the reversing switch in the switch cup of the fan-motor 
assembly (E).

 

Re-install the three screws (QQ) that were removed in first 
step to secure the switch cup cover (OO).

With power off, install the two LED bulbs (J)(Max. 9.5W 
included) by screwing into the light sockets.

 

Remove the rubber washer (SS), hex nut (TT), bottom cover (KK) 
and the finial (MM) from the threaded nipple of the light kit fitter 
assembly (H).

 

Position the glass shade (I) over the threaded nipple and pass the 
pull chain for the fan through pull chain guide on the side of the 
light kit fitter assembly (H).

 

Re-install the  rubber washer (SS), hex nut (TT) and bottom cover 
(KK) to the threaded nipple to secure the glass shade (I) properly.

 

Re-install the finial (MM) and finger tighten the finial.

CAUTION:

 Make sure the power is off before attaching or 

removing the glass shades.

WARNING

: Allow the glass shade to cool completely before 

removing.
