     Slip the fan pull chain from the switch housing into 

the outside hole on the light kit stem holder (XX).

     While holding the glass shade (L), feed the fan pull 

chain through the eyelet on the glass shade (L).

     Place the glass shade (L) over the light kit stem, and 

secure with the metal nut (UU) (rubber side on the 
top).

     Fit the glass cap (VV) onto the light kit stem, and then 

slip the fan pull chain through the hole on the side of 
the glass cap (VV).

     Feed the light pull chain from the light kit stem 

through the glass cap (VV) and the decorative nut 
(WW). Thread the decorative nut (WW) securely. Do 
not overtighten.

CAUTION:

 Before starting installation, disconnect the 

power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse 
at the fuse box. Turning power off using the fan switch is not 
sufficient to prevent electric shock.

Installing the glass shade

     Disassemble the switch housing (YY) from the light kit 

assembly (K). You can keep the light kit (K) for future 
use.

     Attach the plastic plug (BB) to the switch housing 

(YY). 

     While holding the switch housing (YY) under the fan, 

snap together the wire connection plugs (TT).

 

     Install the switch housing (YY) to the light kit 

mounting plate (J) with light kit mounting screws (SS) 
provided. Be sure to tighten all screws.
