What is an “EXTRA VOICE?”
The Sk-series, in addition to being able to duplicate the sound of a vintage Hammond Organ as well as other organ
sounds, has a voice section which offers digital reproductions of instrumental sounds such as Grand Piano, Electric
Piano, Trumpet, Saxophone, etc. This is called the EXTRA VOICE Section and it is accessible using the EXTRA
VOICE Touch Tabs.

EXTRA VOICE Touch Tabs
The EXTRA VOICE Touch Tab group is located to the right side of the Information Center Display.
EXTRA VOICE ALLOCATE Touch Tabs
These allow you to control which division of the instrument will play the Voice you select.
UPPER
This Touch Tab allows the selected Voice to be played from the Upper Manual.
LOWER
This Touch Tab allows the selected Voice to be played from the Lower Manual.
NOTE: On the Sk1, Sk1-73 and Sk1-88, the SPLIT function m ust be “ON” in order for the Extra Voice to play when
LOW ER is selected. For m ore inform ation, consult the KEYBOARD SPLIT section of this Guide.
SOLO
This Touch Tab cancels the Drawbars, allowing only the selected Extra Voice to play
from the selected Manual.
