SELF-LEVELING 360-DEGREE CROSS LINE LASER
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
The laser line
projection is weak.
Batteries are weak.
Replace with new batteries.
The laser line is
hard to see.
The tool is too far from
the target.
Move the tool closer to the
target.
The surrounding is too
bright.
Switch to the hand receiver
mode and find the laser
line with laser receiver
(available separately).
Laser line is not
projected.
No batteries installed or
batteries are depleted.
Install new batteries.
The power switch is
not pushed to the “ON”
position.
Slide the power switch to
the “ON” position.
Laser line flickers
for alert.
The surface where the
tool has been placed is
uneven or the tool is out
of its automatic self-
leveling range.
Place the tool on a more
level surface (within ±4°).
Set the tool to its lock mode.
