Mixing result and precision
The Misceo 3 can be adjusted between 0.5% and 15% with a precision in steps of 0.1%.
With the Misceo 3, you have purchased a fully electronically controlled and highly precise mixing device. In
order to achieve the most exact mixing result, the following parameters of the cooling lubricant should be
taken into account:
-> Refractometer value (observe when measuring the concentration and for adjusting the Misceo 3)
-> Viscosity (temperature-dependent)
Where can I find the refractometer value:

- Ask for the value directly from your cooling lubricant supplier
- Send us a cooling lubricant sample
- Determine your refractometer value yourself by carrying out a beaker test

- Determine your viscosity yourself via the Misceo adjustment function
Using the refractometer value:
To correctly determine the concentration of the mixed cooling lubricant, the read-off value from the
refractometer must be multiplied with the refractometer value.
Example: Read-off value x refractometer value = your calculated measured result
5% x 0.9 = 4.5%
Please carry out the measurement according to the instructions of your refractometer at 20°C.
Using the viscosity:
The viscosity depends on the temperature, which is why it is recommended to correct the viscosity in the
event of a new installation or if there are strong changes in temperature by using the "Adjust" function in the
main menu.
