5.3 Weighing
•
Place the scales on a clean, level table. Make sure that
the scales are stable and do not tilt.
•
Switch on the scales by pressing the ON/TARE button.
After switching on the scales, all symbols appear on the
display. Wait until “0 ” appears on the display. You can
then place the item to be weighed onto the scales and
read the weight value.
5.4 Using the tare function (TARE)
•
Place the empty container onto the scales; the weight
is shown on the display. Set the scales to zero (tare) by
pressing the ON/TARE button. Now place the new item
to be weighed (in the container) onto the scales. Only
the net weight of the item (its weight without the weight
of the container) is shown.
Once the display stops changing, the scales automatically
switch off after approximately 120 seconds. You can
manually switch off the scales by pressing and holding
down the ON/TARE button for approx. 3 second
s.
6. Error messages
•
When the error message ‘Err’ is shown, the scale is
overloaded.
•
When the error message ‘LO’ is shown, the battery is
empty. Replace the battery as soon as possible.
7. Care and Maintenance
•
Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Make
sure that water does not get into the scales.
•
The weighing surface is made of stainless steel.
