2.7 Users
For access to the camera, you can create a number of users
with different access authorisations.
User:
Users authorised as “user” can access and control the
camera.
However, they are not permitted to change system
settings.
Guest:
Users authorised as “guest” may view the live image on
the camera. They are not allowed to control the camera
or make system settings.
Please note that, for security reasons, it is not possible to create
a second user with
“administrator”
rights. The
“Admin”
account
has already been created.
User name:
Enter the desired user name here.
Password:
Enter the password for this account.
Password confirmation:
Enter the password for this account
again for security.
Authorisation:
Select the required authorisation.
2.8 SD card
This menu provides you with all relevant information and setting
options for the SD memory card.
2.8.1 Status
Displays information about the inserted memory card:
Memory:
Size of memory card
Proportion used:
Currently occupied memory
Free memory:
Proportion of memory still available on
memory
card
2.8.2 Memory alarm
The IP camera can send you a warning by e-mail when the
memory limit has been reached.
Recipient address:
Enter your e-mail address here. You
can enter several e-mail addresses by
separating them with a
„;“.
E-mail subject:
Enter a subject for the e-mail that is to
be
sent.
SMTP server:
Enter the address of the SMTP server
used for sending the e-mail.
If you do not know the address of the
SMTP server, you can find it out from
your e-mail provider.
Sender address:
Enter the address from which the
e-mail is to be sent.
SMTP authentication:
Some e-mail providers require SMTP
authentication when sending e-mails.
If your e-mail provider requires this,
please
select
„on“.
User name:
Enter the user name for the e-mail
account that is to be used to send the
e-mail.
Password:
Enter the password for this account.
Buffer memory:
Specify a memory size. As soon as
only the memory you have defined is
still free on the SD card, the camera
will send an e-mail warning.
Save your settings by clicking
„Apply“.
